Hi, my name is Veronica, and I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help.

Recently, my world was turned upside down when my youngest daughter, Yarely, is experiencing a medical crisis. This surgery is not optional; it's life-saving. She will need immediate open-heart surgery, or her health would be at risk. Despite everything, Yarely remains kind, hopeful, and strong, full of dreams and love for those around her. For her young age, she is a brave young girl taking this challenge of a life-altering decision in the best positive way, even though it is a scary, life-threatening situation she has to face. Her goal is to recover with lots of energy, put this experience behind her, and become successful, taking advantage of a second chance in life to help others like they help her.

Unfortunately, this has put me out of work from my two jobs. I'm a single parent doing everything I can to provide for my family, to keep food on our table, cover rent, and ensure my children have the basic necessities they need to grow and thrive. Life has never been easy, but I've always believed in working hard, staying strong with lots of faith, to put my children first. I need to be able to take care of my daughter mentally, physically, and financially, supporting her through this scary, life-threatening situation we're facing.

Unfortunately, though, the recovery journey is just the beginning of financial pressure, and it has become overwhelming. I can't even sleep, thinking every day about how to deal with all these future costs as a single parent. I fear for my health as well, knowing that I have to be strong and calm during these hard days to support my child. I'm afraid I will get Bell's palsy, as I had a history in the past. My car recently broke down; it needs some repairs and is the only transportation we have for future appointments. Between hospital visits and moving around for personal needs day by day, managing daily and monthly basic living costs, bills are building up faster than they can be managed. With no financial support from corporate or other resources, right now we need your support more than ever. We're asking for anything to cover her medical expenses that insurance doesn't help with, provide food and daily essentials during recovery, help cover rent and utilities while I'm off work, fix my car for transportation to take her to future appointments, and cover monthly basic living expenses while she recovers and I get back on my feet to work again.
