Wednesday night April 30 about 8:30pm, my aunt Yara was on a walk with her youngest son and niece, as they crossed the street she was hit by a vehicle, she was able to push the kids out the way, however she was not so lucky. Yara is suffering from serious injuries to her entire left side, luckily her organs and head are okay, she has undergone multiple surgeries to reconstruct her arm, there is surgeries upcoming to fix her leg and will continue healing from her broken ribs.

Life changes in a blink of an eye you never think it’ll happen to your family until it does. I can’t name a more dedicated mother and wife, she has always put her family before anyone else. Yara has ALWAYS been a person to light up the room with her funny stories and even funnier jokes. She’s always been an extremely hard working person and making a future for family. Though this week has been very tough for her she still has her humor and is still the one making us laugh.

Our family is reaching out to all friends and family to donate whatever anyone can afford and is willing to donate. The funds will be for Yara’s medical bills as well as monthly living expenses we all know the bills don’t stop. Sharing Yara’s story could bring her the answers she needs to bring her mind to ease, her case is still under investigation and we have no answers.
