Dear Friends,
Yankee Chihuahua Rescue and Adoption, Inc. (YCRAA) needs your help. For years, we’ve been saying “yes” to homeless Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes in need of safety, care, and love. Now, we find ourselves needing rescue too.
Several of our newest intakes arrived with serious medical issues—heart murmurs, thyroid concerns, urgent dentals, and costly diagnostics. These unexpected expenses have added thousands of dollars to our budget, threatening our ability to keep helping the next dog who needs us.
Your gift makes an immediate impact by covering lifesaving care:
- Bloodwork, x-rays, and echocardiograms
- Vaccinations, spay/neuter, and medications
- Dental surgeries and rehabilitation
Meet a few of the dogs your donation supports:
- Moakie – $1,500 in diagnostics, dental, and medications
- Latoya – Grade 2 heart murmur, needs echocardiogram, spay, and dental
- Shadow – Grade 3 heart murmur, requires extensive testing and surgery
- Molly & Angel – Thyroid, pancreatitis, and dental care still underway
We never want to turn away a dog because of finances. But right now, we cannot do it alone.
