Hi there. Fellow sound mixer Jon Bozeman here. Some of you may know me from sound meetups and working together. I've known Yancey since 2017. Many of you know and have been lucky enough to experience first hand that Yancey is a strong, kind, empathic, caring, and a down right funny as hell lady. Many of you may also know that she recently lost her partner Brian to a long and courageous battle with cancer. Yancey was by his side the entire time- dedicated and loving just like we know her to be on set. Lets support Yancey like she so lovingly supports us on the job and outside of it. Grieving is a difficult, unique, and chaotic rollercoaster. Lets gift Yancey the funds to cover medical expenses, rent, utilities, healthy food, car payments, celebration-of-life arrangements or even grief counseling should she lean into that. She has survived and thrived in the face of more than most of us can imagine. This is one of many opportunities to pay it back to her. Let's cut through the anxiety of life expenses and give her the chance to breathe and grieve with dignity. Starting goal is 10k. This should cover 3 months of expenses.
