Support Yamen & Family's Quality of Life

Hi all! My name is Sophia, I am 25 years old, and am from the Bay Area, CA. I came in to contact with Bushra's family through her brother Mahmoud, who asked that I support them in creating this gofundme. They are in dire need of financial support to support their basic needs and to obtain medical supplies for their young child, Yamen. Bushra's children are suffering from a scarcity of food and water and go to sleep hungry. Mahmoud is struggling with depression as he is unable to support them.

Hello, help us. We are a family of nine living in Gaza. We live in the most difficult conditions in terms of material, health, and housing. We live in a house consisting of a room, a bathroom, and a kitchen. We have a son named Yamen, who is 3 years old. He has been suffering from gastroschisis since the first day of his birth where his intestines extend outside of the abdomen. He underwent many operations before the war on Gaza. The last operation he underwent was to remove the intestines from the body through which the stool is removed. He was supposed to undergo another necessary operation, but because of the war and the destruction of hospitals, the operation can no longer be performed in Gaza. We have been suffering a lot with Yamen’s condition for a year and a half. We are in desperate need of funds as Yamen’s condition requires many health matters such as diapers and continuous sterilization with saline solution and medical gauze. With the war on Gaza, there has been a shortage of the necessary medical supplies and we have become unable to access and afford them. Please support us in improving our quality of life.
