My fiancé and I are expecting our first child Azaria by November 21st. We have worked our best to save up what we can by this date but in this economy we haven’t been able to get very much. I will qualify for CTPFL which will almost give me enough for rent and I can side hustle to make up the difference ; but I won’t have enough money to take care of Yalexa’s month to month bills. That being said as it stands she does not qualify for PFMLA due to being at her current occupation for less than 12 months and will not be able to take more than 2 weeks off of work. With the help of $2,400 she will be able to take a full 2 months off of work to give her body a good amount of time to recover and to give her a good amount of time to bond with our daughter. It is hard for us to ask for help but we are at a point where I’m not sure of any other way to make this work
