For nearly 30 years, Yainet Garcia has dedicated her life to helping others. As a teacher, she has spent decades guiding, encouraging, and shaping the lives of countless students. She’s the kind of person who always puts others first—whether it’s her students, friends, or most importantly, her three children, whom she has lovingly raised as a single mother.

Recently, Yainet experienced two serious falls that left her with a concussion and a badly injured ankle. She now requires multiple vestibular therapies to help overcome damage from the concussions. As if that weren’t difficult enough, she also faces surgery this summer and a long recovery period afterward. During this time, she will be unable to work and earn the income she relies on to support her family.
