Hey everyone,

This is our second visit to Nicaragua and the second time we have been detained or delayed due to immigration technicalities. Last time we came down was in 2018 to get Yadira's paperwork in motion and were detained for an extra 2 weeks.

This time, Yadira being a U.S. Citizen, we were turned away at the airport because she is not carrying her Visa with her . . . Umm, excuse me, but an American Citizen should not have to carry a Visa with them any longer. The U.S. Embassy here is not helping at all. They won't even let us enter the embassy to ask questions and get clarification. We have a plan and have it in motion at this point. Yet, this being said, we are stuck for an additional 7-10 days and are struggling to make ends meet at this point.

We do not want to ask for charity, but anything the Lord may lead you to donate would help immensely. We are at our witts end here and are no longer vacationing, as this has become a nightmare of all sorts. The uncertainty, the lack of response from the Embassy, the anxiety of not being able to get back to our church and Yadira's business. It is all adding up really quick.
