My daughter Xiomara was recently diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma in her eye, and our family is preparing for a challenging journey ahead. To give her the best chance at recovery, we need to travel for several weeks at a time to Stanford or San Diego so she can receive specialized radiation treatment. Being away from home for extended periods means we’ll be facing not only the emotional stress of her diagnosis, but also the practical challenges of travel, lodging, and meals far from our support network.

The costs of these trips add up quickly, and it’s difficult to manage our regular bills and expenses at home while also making sure Xiomara gets the care she needs. We want to focus on supporting her through treatment, but the financial strain is overwhelming. Every contribution will help us cover travel, lodging, and meals, so we can be by Xiomara’s side every step of the way.
