Xing is a loving father who has always done everything in his power to provide for his children. Between his full-time role as an Assistant General Manager and working overnight security shifts, he sacrificed rest and comfort to make sure his family is taken care of. He never imagined that one of those nights would change his life this dramatically. While working his security job Xing was shot in an act of senseless gun violence. The injuries to his abdomen and hip were severe, leaving him unable to walk on his own. Now, instead of working, Xing will spend his days in physical and occupational therapy sessions to be able to regain independent mobility. The timeline of Xing’s recovery is still unknown and during this time he is unable to work or provide as he once did. The financial strain, combined with the emotional toll of not being able to care for his children in the ways he once could, is been devastating to him.
