Hello my friends,

This sweet angel is Xena Warrior Princess. She came to me at around 9 days old. She has deformities in both back legs. Her front arms were also a little turned in, but with a lot of PT from me, they have straightened out pretty well. Her back right leg is double the length of her left leg, and her left leg is twisted in, so she uses her right leg more to try and walk. Her right leg looks like at birth it was born with two legs joined together, and the lower portion is curved inward. The left back leg she doesn’t really have use of; she uses her right leg to try and walk.

Thinking not really sure until our vet visit today, 11/4/2025, with El Paso Veterinary Clinic seeing Dr. O. I know she will need an amputation, not knowing which back leg or possibly both will have to be corrected. In my gut, I feel the left leg more than the right will need to be amputated, and the right leg possibly amputated at the double joint, hoping that we can save most of the right leg so she can lead a normal life. If both need to be amputated, then we will have to find a way to get her a wheelchair to be able to run. Only in time will I know what all needs to be done to give her the best life.

She is now around 5 weeks old and is now eating on her own. I need assistance and your support to be able to get her all the veterinary care she will need. I appreciate all of your support for my love and care for all kittens/cats. I always try my best to give them the best life and to find them the best FurrEver home. I just want to be able to give her the chance at a full life. Thank you so very much.
