We are so thankful to everyone who has donated to Xena's care so far. It has been so many of you that it has made it difficult for VEG to facilitate the funds. They suggested making a central location for all of the money to go so that we can pay it easier, thus this GoFundMe account. The funds will be sent directly to VEG for Xena.

Right now we are looking at an additional amount of $4500. I know it is a LOT to ask but we believe she deserves this chance to live. If you are able to donate, any little bit helps.

Xena was spotted in the Pernassus area of New Kensington on Tuesday evening, emaciated and terrified. She was eventually located and brought to VEG for emergency care. After blood work, ultrasounds, and other testing it was established that it is best for Xena to remain at VEG to receive the proper balanced care that she is in need of, which includes a blood transfusion. Unfortunately this is all very costly.

We believe she is WORTH IT. Xena is only around a year old and in that short time has experienced so much cruelty, neglect, and evil. No animal deserves to be starved and then left to try to survive on their own. We would love to see her survive this and continue to experience the love and care that she has the past 24+ hours.
