Recently, I received some difficult news: I have a large mass on my left ovary, about the size of a watermelon. My doctors have scheduled me for surgery on Wednesday the 22nd to remove it. The recovery process means I’ll be out of work for at least two months, which is a scary thought when it comes to keeping up with my living expenses.

During this time, I won’t be able to earn my usual income, and I’m worried about how I’ll manage my rent and utilities while I focus on healing. I’ve always tried to handle things on my own, but right now, I need to ask for help from my community.
