Donation protected
With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Xavier, who left us far too soon at the age of 39. Born on October 31, 1984, Xavier was a remarkable man who touched the lives of everyone around him. He bravely battled kidney cancer for the past eight years, enduring countless procedures with courage and resilience. Despite his valiant fight, he could no longer continue the struggle, and his loss is deeply felt by all who knew him.
Xavier was a devoted husband, a loving father to six wonderful boys, and an incredible son, brother, uncle, co-worker, and friend. His love for his family was unmatched, and he was the rock upon which they built their lives. His wife and children were his pride and joy, and he poured his heart into being the best father and partner he could be.
Professionally, his career as a Web Application Developer at Arizona State University was a testament to his technical abilities and dedication to his craft as he built and managed complex web environments. With over a decade of experience, he brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every role he held, most recently at the Thunderbird School of Global Management, then prior roles at the School of Life Sciences VisLab and the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law. His memory will continue to inspire us to pursue excellence, just as he did every day.
To his friends and family, Xavi was a beacon of positivity and strength. His kindness, dedication, and unwavering support made him a cherished member of every community he was part of. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but his legacy of love and generosity will continue to inspire all who knew him.
As his family navigates this difficult time, they face not only the emotional burden of their loss but also the financial challenges that come with planning his memorial and recent medical bills. We ask for your support in helping his wife and children as they honor his memory and lay him to rest. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be deeply appreciated and will go a long way in easing the burden on his grieving family.
Xavier's life was a testament to love, courage, and perseverance. May his soul rest in peace, and may his family find comfort in the love and support of their community during this incredibly difficult time.
