Help support Xavier Zavala in his fight against Leukemia
Xavier was born on January 2009, his and his mom's life changed on August 15, 2024. Xavier developed some lumps on his neck, he was taken to his local ER and that's when they were told that he probably has cancer. He was then transported 3 hours from his hometown to a Children's hospital in Lubbock, Tx. On August 16th, he underwent surgery for a Lymph node biopsy, Bone Marrow biopsy and to get a Port in place. The news were not favorable. The pathologist confirmed it was cancer, however they weren't for sure the type of cancer. While waiting the whole weekend for the diagnosis, it was confirmed on August 19th, Xavier had developed T-cell Leukemia.
Let me tell you about Xavier, he is my only nephew and my sister's only child. Xavier is a well mannered gentleman. He loves spending time with his grandfather. He helps his mom take care of his elderly and disabled grandparents and his disabled uncle. He always tries to help in whatever he can while still getting good grades in his Honor classes. Xavier, like any other teenager likes to spend time with his friends and go fishing.
We are here today to ask for help, as their journey will not be easy. Daisy his mother and him will have to travel 3 hours one way each week for 1 year to get his chemotherapy, as it is not available in his hometown. There will be additional costs such as transportation, hotel and other medical expenses that may come their way.
Please share and help support this new life test that they will have to go through.
Please keep Xavier and Daisy in your daily prayers as they will need all the prayers to help with his healing process.
I thank you all in advance for your kind heart, love and support
