Support Xavier Clauss-Walton's Heart Surgery Journey
Donation protected
One of my best friends, Jacqueline Batcha’s only grandson is in the fight of his little life. He was born with congenital heart defects:
DILV.... TGA... abnormal arch . . Hypoplastic heart syndrome (aorta)
Xavier Clauss-Walton was born January 28th at CHOP, where he was welcomed by two adoring big sisters Ellie and Zola. Mama Kristiane is unable to work -having to forego her job to care 24/7 for Xavier. Dad Logan works construction. The Little Family lives locally in Justus, Nana Jackie supports the family as much as she can, and I pitch in to watch the big sisters!
Xavier underwent an Aortic surgery two days after birth, miraculously he survived and continues to fight daily! He cannot swallow, as he was intubated shortly after birth. He has a feeding tube which travels 24” down his Esophagus to his tiny stomach-Fighter that he is, has started pulling out the feeding tube!
Xavier’s young Mama, Kristiane and her husband, Logan take turns with round-the-clock 3-hour feedings-each feeding taking over an hour to complete…
Within the past week Xavier developed Hypertension and blood is being pumped into his little lungs-he weighs 11lbs at three and half months.
Later this week Xavier is scheduled to undergo a Catheterization to plan the next (surgery) steps. Presently there is no availability at CHOP’s Ronald McDonald House… any amount you are willing to donate will 100% fund the family’s expenses both now and going forward as Xavier The Fighter or “Little Man” will need ongoing surgeries, tests and hospital stays.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about Little Man-who also just earned his Hero Cape! Updates will be posted as Xavier Fights!
