My name is Delzie Calucag. On Monday May 26, 2025, I lost my dear best friend Xander Matteo Malasa. His passing was unexpected and has left us all in unfathomable sorrow.

I am creating this GoFundMe page on behalf of Xander’s family, who is grieving deeply, in the hope that it will help take some of the heaviness off of their shoulders.

We are raising funds to help cover memorial costs and to provide some comfort to his family as they navigate this incredibly difficult time. No contribution is too small - every bit of support is deeply appreciated.

If you knew Xander personally you would know his presence was uplifting; his boisterous laugh rumbled through your soul and his debonair persona lightened up even the darkest of times.

Xander was a man of deeply rooted values who stood up for what he believed was right. He was a friend of unwavering loyalty who was consistently ready to show up for you. He exuded an aura that invited you to let down your walls and be your true self. Through Xander I found myself, and I can never do enough to repay him for all that he has done for me.
