Support Wyvern Hotel Staff After Hurricanes

Hi, my name is Alicia McMahon and I am the Food and Beverage Director of the Wyvern Hotel in Punta Gorda. You may know us as the home of Perch 360 Rooftop Bar or 88 Keys, Piano Restaurant and Bar. We are a privately owned boutique Hotel with a close family of employees. We were affected during hurricane Helene and were starting to make headway on rebuilding the hotel and the restaurants when we got hit again by hurricane Milton. Our staff has worked tirelessly in the last few weeks to bring the hotel back to its original glory so that we may reopen both restaurants. Some of our staff were affected by the hurricane with damage to their homes and their property. Many of our staff are having trouble paying their rent, their car payment or even their electric bill. We have done what we can here to give them extra work, but we are limited in what we can do. What I ask all of you now is to please help out, in anyway you can. I know some of you were affected too, and I don’t want to ask too much. I promise that every dollar raised will go to our hourly and tip based employees who so desperately a leg up. These are hard-working people who love their jobs and can’t wait to get back to work. I thank you all in advance.
