Our sweet 9 week old baby girl, Wynter, is currently in the PICU fighting through RSV and is on a ventilator. As any parent can imagine, this has been the most terrifying and overwhelming time of our lives. Watching your baby hooked up to monitors and machines is something no family ever prepares for.
While she continues to fight and make progress, our reality right now is living between hospital rooms and nearby hotels so we can stay close to her. The cost of lodging, food, gas, and time away from work is adding up quickly.
On top of that, once Wynter is discharged, she will still need extra care at home. I will be taking time off to care for her during her recovery — and unfortunately, my leave is unpaid. We are doing everything we can to focus on her healing without the added weight of financial stress, but it has become overwhelming.
We are humbly asking for support to help cover:
• Hotel stays near the hospital
• Gas and meals while we remain by her side
• Medical-related expenses
• Lost wages due to unpaid leave
• Ongoing care once she comes home
If you feel led to donate, no amount is too small. And if you’re unable to give financially, prayers, shares, and words of encouragement mean just as much to our family right now.
Thank you for loving on Wynter and standing with us during the hardest season of our lives. We cannot wait for the day we bring her home safely and can look back on this chapter as something she bravely overcame.
