Support Wyatt’s mass-removal surgery

Our boy Wyatt has been in my life the last 12+ years. He’s done everything from trail riding 16+ miles with us to camping, road trips, and more. He’s raised younger dogs and has ALWAYS been a big lover. He thinks he is a lap dog. All 94 lbs of him LOL.
Recently, a small tumor on his chest has become infected and grown 4-5 times its original size. We rushed him to the emergency vet in E. Syracuse Monday for treatment and were told they do not do mass removal surgery. They did, however, give us 7 days of antibiotics. $350 later, we were feeling nervous and discouraged that our boy wouldn’t be seen in time to resolve this issue, let alone how much it would cost.
Fortunately, by the grace of God, we were able to get him into a local vet during their urgent care day. They evaluated the growth and determined they could indeed remove it as soon as Tuesday, July 15th. Marc and I decided that with his overall health and playful demeanor, it would be a disservice to our pup to end his life so soon. He is otherwise a happy, playful pooch. We decided we would pursue treatment if it meant a good quality of life and some more time together. We were quoted $2,080 on the high end due to the length of time it could take to stop the bleeding and tie off vessels. The doctor said the “dangly” tumors tend to have large vessels and bleed.
As many of our friends and family know, I quit my job this year to be a stay-at-home mom. We made this decision after much prayer and faith that the LORD will provide for our family. We ask that you prayerfully consider helping us raise the last bit we need to cover Wyatt’s surgery Tuesday.
We know the Lord will come through for our family.
God bless and thank you so much for your support.
