Friends , Family and those who have received our go-fund me. My sweet boy Wyatt is in need of a life changing medical procedure. Wyatt is 15 years old with a rare genetic order, (only 2nd to be diagnosed in the world) multiple disabilities, severe sensory impairment and epilepsy. Wyatt had infantile spasms as a baby that evolved into Lennox-gastaut syndrome. Doctors told us his frontal lobes never fully developed and that he would face severe developmental limitations. Today, Wyatt functions at a 12–18 month level and has experienced thousands of seizures throughout his life.

For years, medication helped keep him stable, but over the last two years his condition has worsened significantly. His seizures have become stronger, more frequent, medication-resistant, and severely disruptive to his sleep and development. For the past 18 months, Wyatt has suffered seizure clusters lasting 3–10 hours, often leaving him awake for days but in a zombie like lethargic state and unable to participate in school. This requires repeated ER visits for IV medication as rescue meds have been unsuccessful. We have been hospitalized 5x in the last 6 months alone, and his neurology team has exhausted medication options. Wyatt is already at the top dosing of 3 different seizures meds at this point and they are not working.

Despite all of his medical challenges Wyatt is the sweetest, happiest, most loving little boy. He craves closeness with others and independence to function but his body can’t cooperate with his mind which is severely impaired. Neurology describes this as Wyatts mind is constantly “firing” but making no connections. This over firing causes his mind to be into a constant state of trying to fight off seizures leaving little room for anything else.

During these last 18 months there have been countless months that have been full of fear, anxiety, sleeplessness , panic, worry and exhaustion. But after continuing to press in through prayer, fasting and multiple confirmations we felt Jesus tell us He was going to heal Wyatt and deliver him from the seizures. Through a series of divine connections The LORD led us to explore neuro feedback which was originally developed for epilepsy for medication resistant patients. It rewires the brain together to fire together properly and make proper connections. After a new MRI and brain mapping, we discovered a miracle- that God developed Wyatts frontal lobes contrary to the doctor’s earlier diagnosis!! Because of this Wyatt now has the ability to process information but cannot organize it due to the firing of the brain In constant motion.

Neuro feedback can help correct this. Wyatt needs 45 treatments to start. This will take place over the next several months, 2-3x per week with long travel each visit. Unfortunately, this life-changing treatment is not covered by insurance which bring us here. We know without a shadow of a doubt that this is the direction that God has led us. He is our divine Healer AND we are grateful for the doctors He has created and led us to for this alternative route of treatment.
