Support Wyatt's Journey for a New Heart

WYATT THE WARRIOR waiting for his new HEART

Wyatt Lopez was born with Hypoplastic left heart syndrome known as HLHS. A condition which basically means he is living with only half of his heart, but you wouldn't know that if you saw him in action! He has as much heart as any 17 month old could ever could. Wyatt is full of life and loves laughing, dancing, playing drums, watching Moana and most of all connecting with people. The staff at NYU adore him and they are providing him superlative care, performing numerous challenging surgeries and guiding him through a variety of health crises, as he waits for a new heart that will give him a new life outside Hassenfeld Children's Hospital.

Here's the challenge

Caring for Wyatt has taken a tremendous financial toll on the family. Wyatt's grandma had to take a leave from her job to live with Wyatt full time, Full time at the hospital. Other family members drive hours, paying high tolls and gas to visit and support Wyatt the warrior bringing provisions for both Wyatt and his protector Grandma. Medical insurance does not pay for these out-of-pocket expenses which have kept mounting over the past year and a half. We are kindly asking for your support to help the family that is doing such a magnificent job supporting Wyatt the warrior. Every little bit counts. Thank you for any donation you can contribute.
