Just days after celebrating his faith through baptism, 18-year-old Wyatt Nevling’s life changed forever.

Wyatt, a recent Charlotte High School graduate, has always lived life to the fullest. Whether he was on the wrestling mat competing at states, out on the water fishing and boating, or simply spending time outdoors with family and friends, Wyatt is known for his strength, determination, and kind heart. He is the kind of young man who shows up for others—and now, he needs us to show up for him.

On Tuesday, March 31st, while working on his vehicle, a devastating accident occurred. The transmission suddenly slipped and fell, crushing Wyatt and causing severe trauma to his spine. He suffered a catastrophic injury, with his vertebrae crushed from T9 to L2.
Since that moment, Wyatt has already endured two major spinal surgeries and remains in a Level 1 trauma hospital in Gainesville, Georgia. His road ahead will be long and incredibly challenging—months of intensive rehabilitation as he fights to regain movement and learn to walk again.

By the grace of God, Wyatt has been accepted into Shepherd’s House in Atlanta, one of the nation’s top rehabilitation facilities for spinal cord injuries. This brings hope—but also a heavy financial burden.
Wyatt’s mom, Christy, a devoted teacher in Charlotte County, and his dad, Ryan, have never left his side. To support Wyatt through this critical time, they will need to step away from work and relocate temporarily to Atlanta. Between mounting medical bills, insurance deductibles, and living expenses, the financial strain is overwhelming.
We are asking for your prayers—and your support. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward Wyatt’s medical care and help ease the burden on his family so they can focus on what matters most: Wyatt’s recovery. Wyatt has the heart of a fighter. Now he needs a community behind him as he takes on the toughest battle of his life. Please consider donating, sharing, and lifting Wyatt and the Nevling family up in prayer. All donations go directly to Wyatt, Ryan, and Christy Nevling.
