Support WVVan staff impacted by TC Judy and Kevin
Donation protected
Many of us will never experience the howling winds and destructive rains of a major cyclone, but last week the people of Vanuatu survived two Category 4 cyclones (TC Judy and TC Kevin) within just days of each other.
For World Vision Vanuatu staff the focus was almost immediately on working with Government and communities to support what will be a long recovery with widespread damage to homes, essential infrastructure, and food gardens.
The cyclone comes just three years after Cyclone Harold devastated Northern Provinces and as the country slowly recovers from the significant economic impact of COVID-19.
While all World Vision Vanuatu staff are safe, more than 35 staff have reported partial or completely damaged homes.
We’re seeking support to help WV Vanuatu staff directly impacted by TC Judy and/or Kevin to rebuild as they turn their attention to supporting others in need.
Tankyu tumas for your support.
