My name is Wren, and I am 18 years old. Last Tuesday, my world changed forever when my mother, who was a single parent and my only close family member, passed away unexpectedly from complications of pneumonia. She was just 37 years old. Losing her so suddenly has left me not only heartbroken, but also without any financial, social, or emotional support.


Right now, I am facing a lot of uncertainty. I have immediate needs like paying this month's bills, buying food and litter for my cats, covering my own groceries, and picking up my mom's computer from the repair shop. There are also outstanding bills and other costs of living that keep coming up. On top of all this, I am trying to care for my cats and keep some sense of normalcy while I grieve.


Looking ahead, I am asking for help to cover the next few months of expenses. I don't currently have a job or a car, so I will need to pay for transportation when necessary. Having support for the next few months will help ensure I have housing security while I search for a job, grieve, and try to save up some money.
