Fighting Poverty with Purpose: Help Us Support Kids in Rwanda!
A 5th Grade Project Led by Thomas Muller and Robbie Clayton
St. Cecelia Interparochial School
For our class project on the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, we chose Goal #1: Zero Poverty. Poverty affects millions of children around the world — including in Rwanda, Africa — and we believe no child should go without the basics they need to grow up safe, healthy, and educated.
That’s why we’ve set a big and exciting goal:
We are trying to raise $16,000 to support the World Gift Rwanda Orphanage and Soul of Rwanda.
These organizations care for children who have lost their parents or live in extreme poverty. They provide a loving home, daily meals, education, and life skills — but they need help. We want to be part of the solution.
With your support, we can help provide:
Books and school supplies so the kids can learn and dream big
Medical supplies to keep everyone healthy and strong
Sewing lessons so older kids can learn to make clothes and earn a living someday
Clothing and shoes — many kids go without these every day
A library — a special place they are building where children can read, learn, and imagine a better future
Hope and opportunity — because every child deserves a chance to become a role model in their community
We may be in 5th grade, but we believe kids can change the world. The children in Rwanda are strong and full of potential — and we want to help them grow into leaders who break the cycle of poverty in their villages.
Led by Thomas Muller and Robbie Clayton, this project is our way of turning what we learn in school into real action that helps others.
Will you help us make this dream come true?
Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to our goal. Together, we can help these amazing kids not just survive — but thrive.
