Woodstock Shakespeare Players is a theatre ensemble in McHenry County celebrating Shakespeare and other plays, offering opportunities for a wide range of community theatre artists.

WSP was founded in 2024 by Angie Kells, Jason Ryan Lovett and Marisa Snook who share a passion for Shakespeare and community theatre performances which resonate across cultures and across generations. We aim to demonstrate how Shakespeare can connect with modern audiences.
