Support Woodstock Small Businesses

Here we are 10 months into the Coronavirus Pandemic.  It has been a tumultuous year for many people in our city.  As we embark on a  New Year, many businesses in Woodstock find themselves once more in lockdown.  This means so many things for the people of our town and the owners of these businesses.

First, it means loss of income for the owners;  they struggle to pay rent and bills.  Many will not survive this lockdown, especially if it goes beyond the 30 day mark.  These entrepreneurs have risked so much to open their establishments; and contribute to the beauty and economy of our small city.   

Now is the time for the people of Woodstock to support and encourage some of the businesses that have been forced to shut their doors a second time. These businesses may be deemed "non-essential" to the provincial government, but they are the heart of our city!

This Go Fund Me account has been set up as a jumping off point.  The current goal is to provide $3000 to 3 businesses in Woodstock; to help them with the bare minimum of expenses (rent and bills). Currently, this money will go to Salon Sixty Spa, Radiant Health Yoga and Finkle Street Tap & Grill.  

It is my hope that the people of Woodstock would generously donate and provide support for not JUST these 3 businesses but many more that are in need of our help.  

I encourage you to give enthusiastically.  Let's work together to love and support our small business sector.
