Support Wolfie’s Final Journey with Love

Wolfie, my 12-year-old Pomeranian Chihuahua, has been diagnosed with kidney disease. It happened really fast. Within 2 days, he went from trying to chase neighborhood cats and disc golfing with me to hardly wanting to move. He is the best dog a man could ask for. He doesn't have much longer before I'll have to end his suffering with euthanasia. I can't stand by and watch him continue to regress. I've never had to deal with something so gut-wrenching. I've had Wolfie by my side since he was the size of my hand. Probably the chillest Chihuahua you've ever met. He loved going on car rides and disc golfing. He was the shop dog for a couple of years at a place I once worked at. People would come into the store to give him treats and to visit with him. They wouldn't even buy anything; they just wanted to see Wolfie. He was always super excited to meet new people and make friends with other dogs. He's the only living thing that would be over the moon when I walked in the door.

Now, I'm asking for help. With everything else going on in my life right now, I cannot afford all his vet bills. Any little bit helps. I would like to have him cremated so I can keep a part of him with me. These types of things can be very expensive. I want to thank everyone who has been a part of his life. He loves everyone just as much as I love him. I don't know how to end this paragraph, so I'm going to say I appreciate and love all the support and kind words I've received since his diagnosis. I also want to thank Starch Animal Hospital for their care and sensitivity, especially after the diagnosis when I nearly lost myself in the clinic. Their care is top-notch.
