It’s Giving Tuesday!

At the Lakota Waldorf School, this day is very important for us. We’re a tuition-free, donor-supported school serving children on the Pine Ridge Reservation, one of the most economically challenged areas in the country. We depend on every gift you can give us.

This GivingTuesday, our goal is to raise $20,000 to support our daily operations and continue building a strong educational foundation for Lakota children. Every dollar goes directly toward creating opportunities and stability for our students and families.

Each gift we receive helps us provide a Waldorf education grounded in Lakota language and culture, ensuring that our students grow in both academic and cultural strength. Our students come from across the reservation, including the Kyle-Pejuta Haka District, Porcupine, Wounded Knee, and Manderson communities.

• Remain tuition free for every child who attends.

• Provide healthy organic meals, school transportation, and classroom supplies year-round.

• Sustain Lakota language immersion and traditional handcrafts that preserve our culture for the next generation.

• Maintain a nurturing, safe, and loving environment where our students can thrive.

• Keep the JDC program operating, which works with incarcerated minors to provide education
