Support WNC Families in Crisis Recovery

Raising money for my family in WNC to help fund the expenses from Helene to rebuild, replace, repair damage, emergency supplies, bills, missed time from work ect.

The unimaginable has happened to us, our friends, family, and neighbors. The feeling of security, and safety has vanished. We were trapped in our home for whole week without power, water, cell service to communicate, left to wonder if our family and friends were even alive. Huge downed trees, power lines, and debris blocked the streets. Our home, and car was damaged. I was lucky enough to have an emergency radio, and was able listen in horror at everything happening around me. My heart goes out to all who were lost, stranded, and grieving. People who lost their homes, and businesses they spent their whole lives working for. We and WNC The place we call home, will never be the same.

Currently safe near family in Charleston, SC I’ve never been more grateful to be able to do laundry, take a hot shower, eat hot food, flush a toilet, flick a light switch that actually turns on.. I still haven’t be able to sleep knowing my sisters, nieces, nephews, My elderly disabled parents are back home. My mother had heart surgery, and has spent 10 days in ICU, and 6 days in the heart tower during all of this. She is bed bound, while my father is in need of hip surgery. We’re planning to bring back as much food, water, and supplies as We can.

I’m so grateful & blessed to be alive, and have all my family safe. Any help is so appreciated during the darkest time in our lives, Thank y’all from the bottom of our devastated hearts.
