My name is Tracy Harper and my family has lived in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina for almost 200 years. The people in our community and all over WNC have been decimated by Hurrican Helene. There is currently no running water, no electricity, no cell service, limited fuel and supplies and no way of knowing how long it will be before those things are back. Roads are gone, bridges washed away, and people are missing. Our family owns and operates Ferguson Supply and Cafe in Clyde and has been the hub of our little community since 1919. We are looking for donations of any amount to distribute to these wonderful people in such desperate need. We will use all monies to feed and supply folks with basic necessities. I’ve been fundraising for others for years but this one is different. This one is home. There are lots of non-profits that can use your help if you prefer but please help. If you can spare anything please do so and thanks for taking the time to read this. Our hearts are breaking as so many have lost so much.
