On January 15th I shattered my ankle and broke my tibia and fibula in a fluke accident while I was getting ready for bed. Two days later I received my first of two surgeries. After weeks of waiting for swelling to go down, my second surgery will take place on February 11th. Even with insurance, the cost of an ambulance, 4 days of hospital stay, X-rays, CT scans, two surgeries and not being able to work for months is a lot.
