On September 17th, 2025, my son-in-law, Eric, suffered the tragic and unexpected loss of his mother, Juli Harbeck. Juli was struck by a vehicle and sustained life-threatening injuries. She was rushed to a local hospital and underwent hours of surgery, but despite every effort, she ultimately passed away from her extensive injuries.

Juli was deeply loved by her children and her five grandchildren. Her absence leaves a tremendous void in the lives of all who knew her. In the midst of their grief, Eric and his wife, my daughter Ashlee, are faced with the heavy responsibility of arranging services for Juli while continuing to care for their own five young children.

I am creating this fundraiser to help ease the financial burden they are facing during this heartbreaking time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help them honor Juli’s memory with the dignity she deserves and allow them to focus on healing as a family.
