About WIRED AUV

WIRED AUV is a women-focused robotics learning and competition team. The team designs, builds, and programs an autonomous underwater robot for the annual RoboSub Competition while helping women and underclassmen grow their technical and professional skills through hands-on experience. This GoFundMe is being used alongside community fundraisers, including bake sales and other events, so that supporters have an easy way to contribute while helping the team continue its work.

Funds raised for WIRED AUV will go toward the team’s ongoing technical and professional needs, including equipment for the robot and travel needs connected to competitions and other opportunities. Support from the community helps WIRED AUV keep building, learning, and representing its team in meaningful spaces. Every contribution, whether it comes through a fundraiser event or a direct donation here, helps make those experiences more possible. Thank you for supporting WIRED AUV and the students who are learning, competing, and growing through this team.
