Support Winter Relief for Hurricane Helene Victims
Donation protected
As a native of Western North Carolina, I am heartbroken at the devastation brought on by Hurricane Helene. I was in Todd, NC as the storm rolled through my beloved Blue Ridge Mountains. I am safely back at home now. As a current Gulf Coast resident, I am familiar with hurricanes. I am concerned for the small towns which have not received much coverage or help. Colder temperatures will arrive soon. I have started a relief effort to provide winter items, such as coats, gloves, and other items to victims firstly in the Todd, NC area where I have some personal connections, and secondly, to any town in need after that, if funding allows. Here is a list of items I would like to purchase:
-Hot Hands/Hot feet products
-Warm gloves
-Socks
-Toboggans (head gear not sleds, FYI)
-Blankets
-Warm sleeping bags
-Propane operated heaters
-Propane for the heaters
-Generators if I get enough funds
-Instant hot chocolate instant coffee
