Please help Winter Reign, Brendan Armm, and their family after loosing their home in the Palisades Fire.

On January 7th, the Palisades Fire devastated Winter and Brendan's co-parenting homes, reducing the home where Winter lived and shared with the children (and cats)—a beloved family home in Malibu Village—to ashes.

This was not just a sweet little house, but the home where River (14) and Leaf (12) were born, where art and music flourished, and where the family built their lives together. They were forced to evacuate with only a few belongings and their pets.

They now face immense challenges as they navigate recovering. They are temporarily staying in a shared Airbnb. Their house is expected to take at least two years to rebuild during which Winter will need to rent another place for herself and the children.

Brendan and his partner were able save the other rented family home which had also caught fire. They stayed into the night on Jan 7th watering and saving several of their neighbors’ homes (and a puppy) as well! (The NYT even picked up their story). However, the future of Brendan’s home remains uncertain, requiring extensive repairs before it can be lived in again. Current estimate given by the city is a minimum 6 months.

Winter, a freelance admin. assistant in the holistic wellness space, and Brendan, an acupuncturist with a clinic in Santa Monica, are facing the daunting financial burden of securing temporary long term housing, replacing immediate family necessities while maintaining their children’s education and well being.

They are incredibly generous folks, always thinking of others and first to support their community, as was demonstrated even on this tragic day.
