Our friend Winston Rocha is in need. I received a call from the ICU a few days ago - Winston had been admitted with septic shock as a result of liver failure.

Over the course of this past year, I have been helping to care for Winston and his dog, Eros. When we last spoke a few weeks ago, he was tired and clearly weak, but his spirits were high and he was excited about listening to and speculating about the Mariners.

Winston is a humble man and would probably not want to bother anyone with his problems. But this OG needs prayer and some support. I was with him this morning as he was transferred from the hospital to the nursing home. I'm kind of at a loss. He will need help with the medical costs, but also for the care of beautiful Eros.

It's a lot, I know, especially with how hard the world is right now and the troubles we're all dealing with. But if there is any way to help lighten his load, I'm sure he would be grateful.
