Winry has been honored with an invitation to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington DC. We are so incredible proud of her academic accomplishments, personal successes, her confidence, and her beautiful spirit. From a very young age Winry has shown interest in acting, traveling, animals, caring for others, being part of teams, and finding ways to give back to our community. Winry’s adventurous spirit has led her to befriend many around her, be a loving big sister, remain authentic to herself, laugh fully, be serious when needed, and always ALWAYS show her compassionate heart.

To reserve Winry’s space we must first put down a $500 deposit and then pay the remaining of the day tuition costs, which runs upwards of $3,000. This does not include any travel expenses to and from the conference, or lodging costs. We hope to fundraise the tuition so Winry can attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference through their day program, where she can stay off campus with her family during the week – specific dates to be assigned.

When Winry learned that a teacher from her school had nominated her for the JNYL Conference, she was over the moon. We are excited for her to have this opportunity and even more excited for the remarkable memories it will create. While the JNYLC has many positives, we must first achieve the fundraising required to attend such an event.

Winry has selected the Conference in Washington DC where she will attend University of Maryland for one week. Here she will be introduced to the campus setting, while attending workshops, group activities, hands on simulations, develop leadership skills, while making new friends from across the US.

We thank everyone for the time, love, and care they have poured into Winry over the years. Thank you for being there for the small moments and the big ones. We know she is destined for big and beautiful things. We hope this is one of many milestones she gets to enjoy in her academic journey!
