Winnie passed today she still has a mass on her lung and she had not improved with meds.

thank you to all of you for your help it will pay for her burial.

Hi, I’m Gwen and this is Winnie. We are surprised by her sudden health challenges. Poor Winnie is my top priority. She is currently in the ICU at the vet office in Derry. It’s expensive, so, so expensive, and we don’t know the outcome yet. She has a collapsed trachea. She is full of fluids and can’t get a good look at her heart because of it. She has a mass that might be fluid, but we will not know until after her LASIKs. Any help whatsoever is deeply appreciated. She’s not yet ten and has had Coccidia as a kitten. Today is day one of her stay, and the office is closed tomorrow, but I get updates I’m happy to share.

update 9pm may 9th she is stable is getting antifungal meds (moldy house may be the culprit) new X-rays in the morning but the vet is still concerned about the shady parts of her lungs (the mass) Included in the photos is a normal xray I found online. Yesterday’s X-rays and tonight’s X-rays from the vet. Will add tomorrow’s when I get them. Thank you all so much.

update 1pm may 10

much bigger problem than I anticipated because it’s the mold in my grandma’s house. I’m taking her home to my room that I scrubbed and have an air purifier. Going to use the cash here to buy cleaning supplies and a bigger air purifier as I try to tackle the mold problem further.

May 15 she’s coughed this morning just before her meds.
