Hi my name is Rachel. My son’s girlfriend Winnie was diagnosed with Germinoma Brain cancer on February 27, 2024. On behalf of Winnie, her family, and my son I am creating this gofund me in order to support Winnie through her battle against cancer. Winnie will have to under go chemo and radiation for a period of 6 months or longer. Insurance will cover a portion of her treatment but due to chemo and radiation, if we don’t preserve her eggs she will never have the opportunity to become a mother in the future. We are asking for any support you can give, every penny counts. The process of harvesting her eggs will begin next week, her radiation and chemo will follow after. Her journey doesn’t end there. The recovery process will be grueling, but we know she can get through this. She has been off work since February due to the effects of her brain cancer. We would greatly appreciate any help we can get during this process of helping preserve her eggs.
