This is Winky. He was rescued in June 2025, at only 4 weeks old, weighing 10 ounces, and in horrible condition. He is now 4 months old and started experiencing symptoms of FIP, 4 weeks ago. Winky has been seen by two veterinarians and has had countless tests done on him over the last 2 weeks. Ultimately, Winky has been diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). FIP is a severe, often fatal, viral disease in cats caused by a mutation of the feline coronavirus (FCoV). This mutation is carried by the mother of the litter and often shows up at 4 months old. The FDA approved an 84 day treatment, just last year, to help save cats lives that have been diagnosed with FIP. Medical bills have already begun piling up and the cost of these medications and treatments have become very expensive. If you would like to help us get Winky the treatment he needs to save his life, anything helps.
