I’m reaching out on behalf of our dear friend Browdie and his dog, Windy, who is in a life-threatening situation and needs urgent help.
Windy has been diagnosed with pyometra, a severe infection that requires immediate emergency surgery. Without it, she will not survive. This came on suddenly, and things have escalated very quickly. Pyometra is a serious infection of the uterus, usually affecting unspayed female dogs. The uterus fills with pus, and toxins can leak into the bloodstream. Without treatment, it can lead to sepsis, organ failure, and death.
Windy isn’t just a dog — she’s Browdie’s family, his companion, his constant. She’s been by his side through everything, and seeing her like this is devastating.
The cost of the emergency surgery is more than Browdie can manage on such short notice, and time is critical. We are trying to funds as quickly as possible so Windy can get the care she needs and have a chance to recover.
If you’re able to donate, even a small amount truly helps. And if you can’t, sharing this page could make all the difference.
Please help us give Windy a chance to live.
Thank you so much for your support, love, and kindness during this incredibly difficult moment.
