Our sweet Willy was tragically hit by a vehicle that fled the scene on Thursday night. He has a fractured pelvis that completely separated from his sacrum and needs emergency orthopedic surgery to try and repair the damage. The goal amount is what we’ve been quoted for his care. We spent around $8k for pre-op emergency care already and were quoted an additionally $20-25k for his surgery. We found a great surgeon but they wont proceed until they have payment up front so this is extremely urgent. We do have pet insurance but it doesn’t cover what we need for him.
