Help me help Willy!

Willy is a 10 year old chihuahua that became a new addition to my family in June. After taking him to the vet they unfortunately found a mast cell tumor. If this tumor is not removed, it will eventually spread throughout his body and give him at most 2 years left to live. The sooner it can be removed, the better chance he has for living a longer life. Willy does have insurance but, since he is a new addition to my home and diagnosed within 30 days of having him, they will not cover any portion of the procedure. Along with insurance not covering expenses, I just paid $800 out of pocket for Willy to get an echo on his heart to see if he can handle the operation and luckily he can.

With saying all of this, in order to book his surgery I need to come up with the full amount of his operation. His treatment plan ranges from $4500 to $5500. I really don’t like asking for help. But, when it comes to my fur babies I am stepping out of my comfort zone and trying anything to prolong Willy’s life. Any amount donated is appreciated beyond belief. Please help me help Willy in living a longer healthier life.
