Support Will's Fight Against Glioblastoma Brain Cancer

If you stopped to read this, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for the support we continue to receive from our friends, family, Will’s department, and the community as we face this difficult challenge.

I’m Laura and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Will and our family. We recently have been forced to embark on a difficult journey as Will forges forward in his battle with a glioblastoma, also known as a high grade cancer of the brain. This is a diagnosis that we never expected as Will is a committed K9 officer with an active lifestyle and father of 3. What began as chronic headaches led to the unthinkable and has flipped our world upside down. This has been extremely hard on Will as he is unable to work at this time and is faced with many limitations while he undergoes multiple treatments such as radiation and chemotherapy. During this time we greatly appreciate all support given. We are unsure as to how long he will continue to undergo treatment which will keep him away from work as he pours his energy into healing and spending time with his family. Your kindness and support helps us to cover these unforeseen expenses that we are experiencing due to medical costs and time away from work for him and his family as we remain by his side while he undergoes treatment. Our main focus is to ensure that Will is receiving the best care possible. We’re standing strong together in confidence that he will beat this and with all the continued love and support we know he will come out stronger than ever.
