Help Willow Get the Heartworm Treatment She Deserves ❤️

Willow is a sweet, loving pup who has already been through more than most dogs should. She recently found her way into the hearts and home of Cody and Izzy — a couple who already had two dogs of their own but couldn’t turn her away.

Willow needed to be rehomed and has special needs that make it difficult to find a stable, understanding environment. Rather than see her end up in a shelter, Cody and Izzy welcomed her into their family and have been giving her the patient, loving care she needs.

Recently, they received heartbreaking news: Willow tested positive for heartworm.

Heartworm is a serious and potentially deadly disease, but the good news is that with proper treatment, it’s completely curable. Unfortunately, that treatment comes at a high cost — typically between $2,500 and $3,000, depending on how advanced the infection is.
