Edit : 10/31/2025. Happy Halloween everyone. Willow is still doing okay I just wanted to post her current medications as they do change about every two weeks. This is what she is currently on right now.

I'm trying to raise money for my daughter's special needs dog. Her name is Willow, and we've had her since March of 2020. We got her when she was 6 weeks old and weighed one and a half pounds. This dog has become everything to my daughter, who is currently a struggling college student.

About a year ago, we were informed by our vet that Willow is now considered special needs. She has a liver disease. We don't know why, where, or how; she just does. She has been on multiple different medications over the past year, and sometimes the medication works, but right now it's not. Now the vets are recommending that she has an ultrasound and also a biopsy. She's not getting any better from the medication, and they need to do these procedures to figure out why.

I can emphatically, with 100% certainty, say that this dog has probably saved my daughter's life. She was in a debilitating depression when we got her, and this dog has changed everything. I'm recently divorced, and I'm helping her as much as I can, but the upcoming visits are going to be very, very expensive, and we just don't have that kind of money. I'm afraid for Willow, but I'm afraid for my daughter more. Willow is only 5 years old, and she has so much more love to give. I am happy to provide any medical results and information from the vet and I'm also happy to provide the money we have already spent on treating willow.
