As many of you know, I have been fostering Nexus, a remarkable five-year-old filly, through Willow Branch Horse Haven and Rescue. Rescued from uncertain circumstances, Nexus is a shining example of the beauty, grace, and resilience that rescue horses bring into our lives. Since volunteering at Willow Branch, I’ve been deeply moved by the number of horses in need—each week, the rescue receives countless calls for help.

Responding to these calls and providing a safe haven for these majestic animals is our mission, but caring for horses is a labor of love that comes with significant costs. From training and veterinary care to hoof maintenance and proper nutrition, every dollar ensures these horses receive the care they deserve. Horses, as powerful and inspiring as they are, rely on the kindness and dedication of their human supporters.
