Hello, my name is Dr. Sandra L. Whiters, and I’m humbly asking for your support on behalf

of my incredible husband, Willie Whiters. For 7 long years, Willie has fought a hard and

painful battle with end-stage kidney disease. Through it all—hours of dialysis, sleepless

nights, and the physical toll on his body—he stood strong. He kept his faith. He kept his

hope. And most of all, he kept fighting.

Since 2018, Willie has been on life-sustaining dialysis, waiting and believing for a miracle.

And on May 31, 2025, at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, that miracle came. Willie

received a life-saving kidney transplant! ����

This is a moment of great joy—but it also comes with an urgent need.

We are now faced with a mountain of unexpected expenses related to his post-transplant

care, including:

- Anti-rejection medications (lifelong and extremely costly)

- Frequent follow-up appointments and lab tests

- Hospital bills and co-pays not covered by insurance

- Travel and lodging costs for trips back and forth to Atlanta
